Protein Wafers for Bottom Feeders - With Shrimp

A protein-rich sinking wafer for the meat-leaning side of the bottom community. Built on anchovy, shrimp, and squid meal, it's the everyday staple for plecos that want animal protein in their diet, with a little spirulina worked in for balance.

The wafers sink fast and soften slowly, so fish graze along the bottom at their own pace, and they hold together as they soften — which means cleaner water and less wasted food than wafers that crumble on contact.

For active breeding conditioning, rotate it with our protein cubes; for dedicated grazers, alternate with a spirulina-led wafer. Don't see your exact L-number? If your fish is a Hypancistrus, Peckoltia, or other protein-feeding pleco, this suits it.

Which fish it's for

A daily protein food for:

• Carnivorous plecos — Hypancistrus (Zebra L046, King Tiger L066, L236, L260, L333 and more), Pseudacanthicus, and Leporacanthicus.
• Protein-leaning omnivores — Peckoltia (Leopard Frog L134, L015 and others) and Scobinancistrus.
• Other catfish, plus shrimp, which graze it readily.

How to feed

Feed 1–2 times daily in small portions your fish can finish within about 15 minutes. As with all high-protein foods, avoid overfeeding.

The wafers can be:

• Dropped in whole so they sink to the bottom where bottom dwellers can graze at their own pace.
• Broken into smaller pieces to spread the food around and reduce competition among territorial fish.

Always remove anything uneaten after feeding to keep water quality stable.
