Bottom Feeder Pellets - With Anchovy and Shrimp (200g / 7oz)
PROMO SAVE 25% when buying as a bundle
The big-jar size of our #1 best-selling food — the sinking pellet we feed most on our own farm, in a 200g / 7oz pack built for people who feed a lot of bottom fish or run more than one tank.
Best for mixed-size tanks. When you keep adults and fry together, a single tablet lets the big fish muscle in while the little ones go hungry. Scatter several of these pellets instead, and big and small fish all come out and feed at the same time, each on their own piece — nobody gets crowded out.
These pellets lead with real animal protein — fish, shrimp, krill, and brine shrimp — with spirulina for balance and natural carotenoids from krill and spirulina to support strong color. It's a high-protein staple, especially well suited to protein-feeding plecos.
Don't see your exact L-number? If your fish is a Hypancistrus, Peckoltia, or other protein-feeding pleco, this is a great fit.
Which fish it's for
A high-protein everyday food for the bottom community:
- Protein-feeding plecos — Hypancistrus (Zebra L046, King Tiger L066, L236, L260, L333 and more), Peckoltia (Leopard Frog L134, L015), Scobinancistrus, and Leporacanthicus.
- Everyday grazers — Ancistrus / bristlenose, corydoras, loaches, plus shrimp and snails.
- Mid-water fish often grab them on the way down, too.
How to feed
Feed 1–2 times daily, scattering a few pellets so fish across the tank can each claim one. Add only what your fish will work through, and remove anything left over to keep water quality stable.
The pellets can be:
- Scattered whole — they sink fast and are dense, so fish graze and nibble them slowly over time rather than gulping them down (natural, unhurried feeding with less competition).
- Crushed to a powder — for smaller mouths, very small fish, or to spread food around the tank (the pellet is on the larger side, best for juveniles and adults).
Ingredients
Fish meal, shrimp meal, krill meal, wheat flour, soya bean meal, brine shrimp, spirulina powder, fish oil, dried yeast, minerals, vitamins.
