Its true vertical airlift design creates a straight, unrestricted water path without a narrow collar that can clog. Air is delivered to the base, drawing water through the full length of the sponge for consistent filtration. Multi-layer diffusers produce finer bubbles and help reduce operating noise.
The black 30 PPI sponge captures debris while providing ample surface area for beneficial bacteria. Gentle, air-driven operation makes the filter suitable for fry, shrimp, small fish, and breeding setups. A weighted base helps it sink quickly and remain securely in place.
Available in three sizes:
- Size S -- for tanks up to 20 gallons
- Size M -- for tanks up to 30 gallons

Each filter includes 3 ft / 1 m of aquarium airline tubing. An air pump is required and is not included.

Directions and care
Place the filter upright in the aquarium, connect the airline tubing to an air pump, and adjust the airflow as needed.
During water changes, gently squeeze the sponge in removed aquarium water to clear debris while preserving beneficial bacteria. Do not use tap water, soap, detergents, or chemicals, and do not allow the sponge to dry out before reuse.
