Pleco Cave - Camel

This Camel-style pleco cave is designed to provide a more enclosed hiding space compared to standard straight tube caves.

The gently curved shape creates a slightly more protected interior feel, which many plecos prefer when selecting a place to rest or spawn. It works well for Bristlenose Plecos (Ancistrus), Hypancistrus, Peckoltia, and other cave-dwelling species, as well as shrimp and other freshwater aquarium inhabitants.

Because of the curved structure, the cave naturally limits direct light and open sightlines inside, making it feel more secluded once fish settle in. This can make it a preferred option in setups where fish choose between multiple cave types.

The bark-textured surface helps it blend into aquascapes while keeping its primary function as a dedicated shelter.

Made from high-temperature fired clay, it is durable, inert, and safe for freshwater aquariums.

How to use

Rinse briefly under tap water before placing in the tank.

Place it on the substrate in a stable position with the opening facing open space.

Use as a hiding spot, breeding cave, or safe resting area.
