Pleco Tablets - Original

These sinking pleco tablets are designed for herbivorous and omnivorous plecos that spend most of their time feeding along the bottom of the aquarium.

They work especially well for species such as Bristlenose Plecos, Ancistrus, Common Plecos, and other algae-grazing catfish. The tablets sink quickly and soften gradually in water, allowing fish to feed naturally over time.

The formula combines ingredients like gammarus, shrimp meal, bloodworms, pumpkin, algae, and plant-based ingredients to provide a varied diet with both protein and vegetable matter. This makes the tablets suitable as a regular food source for plecos that benefit from a mix of animal and plant ingredients.

These tablets are used daily on the Plecoceramics pleco farm and have been developed around the feeding habits of bottom-dwelling catfish.

Feeding notes

Feed 1–2 times daily in portions that fish can consume within a few hours.

Place tablets directly on the substrate where plecos and other bottom feeders can access them easily.

Remove uneaten food if necessary to help maintain good water quality.
